OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE A BEST-IN-CLASS BASIS BENBROOK COMMUNITY THAT ALLOWS FOR SUCCESS IN AND OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM THROUGH SPONSORSHIP OF EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES, SOCIAL EVENTS, AND PARENT ENGAGEMENT.
BASIS Benbrook Boosters is an all-parent-led 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the students, educators, and staff members of BASIS Benbrook through fundraising and volunteerism.
We achieve our goals by:
• Acting as a liaison between guardians and administration
• Coordinating family volunteers
• Planning social events for the BASIS Benbrook community
• Fundraising for children’s events, teachers, and classrooms
How can I help?
We would love to have all BASIS Benbrook families involved in Boosters. It doesn’t matter if you are a stay-at-home parent with extra time, a grandparent wanting to support your scholar or a busy family of 8, there is always a way for everyone to get involved! Copy Room Help (Aviator Angels), Lost & Found, Event Committees, Staff Appreciation, Community Building, Carline Cookie Fridays, Spirit Nights, and many more opportunities.
What is the Booster Board?
The Booster Board consists of a few parents who have been elected to serve on a board to help govern Boosters. By law, nonprofits must have a minimum of three executive board members who are legally responsible for the organization and ensure that its actions, both financially and physically, adhere to the non-profit laws.
