OUR MISSION IS TO PROVIDE A BEST-IN-CLASS BASIS BENBROOK COMMUNITY THAT ALLOWS FOR SUCCESS INSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE CLASSROOM THROUGH SPONSORSHIP OF EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES, SOCIAL EVENTS, AND PARENT ENGAGEMENT.

BASIS Benbrook Boosters is an all-parent-led 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the students, educators, and staff members of BASIS Benbrook through fundraising and volunteerism. 

Our Objectives:

• To promote the welfare of children in the school, community and home.

• To fund programs and activities that extend and enrich the educational and social experiences of the registered children. 

• To foster a cooperative working relationship and encourage communication among parents, administrators, teachers, and support staff. 

• To develop united efforts between educators and parents that provide children with the highest advantages in intellectual, social, creative, ethical, and physical education. 

• To maintain transparency and ensure that information regarding policies is shared with the membership to promote unity among parents, administrators, teachers, and support staff.

How can I help?

We would love to have all BASIS Benbrook families involved in Boosters. It doesn’t matter if you are a stay-at-home parent with extra time, a grandparent wanting to support your scholar or a busy family of 8, there is always a way for everyone to get involved! Copy Room Help (Aviator Angels), Lost & Found, Event Committees, Staff Appreciation, Community Building, Carline Cookie Fridays, Spirit Nights, and many more opportunities.

What is the Booster Board?

The Booster Board consists of a few parents who have been elected to serve on a board to help govern Boosters. By law, nonprofits must have a minimum of three executive board members who are legally responsible for the organization and ensure that its actions, both financially and physically, adhere to the non-profit laws.
