Unlike a public school's Parent Teacher Association (PTA), BASIS Benbrook Boosters is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization led by parents and guardians to support and enhance the experience of students, parents, and staff of BASIS Benbrook. As a separate entity from the school, BASIS Benbrook Boosters raises money throughout the year to make a difference for our school community.
BASIS Benbrook is a closed campus, which means parent involvement looks different compared to your elementary school circa 1996. Gone are the days where parents can show up during school hours, join their child for lunch, or be a room parent.
So what can you do? Join the BASIS Benbrook Boosters and get exclusive access to volunteer both at the school and events!

BASIS Benbrook Boosters host at least 3 General Meetings each school year. We encourage parents and staff to attend to learn about ways to get involved, how the Boosters support the school, and build community.

Whether you're a stay-at-home mom, working parent, grandparent, or the fun uncle, we invite all families and BASIS Benbrook students to participate in Booster programs and events.

Annual memberships are $20 per adult and $5 per student. You may purchase your memberships here.
WHERE DO MY MEMBERSHIP DUES GO?

100% of the membership dues goes directly to support our students, families, and staff. Dues help fund school wide events, community socials, spirit wear merchandise, staff appreciation, financial assistance to students, and staff requested items.

Glad you asked! You can attend one of our general meetings to get the latest updates, participate in an upcoming event, sign up for a committee, donate to our general fund, or volunteer as needed!

There are several ways to donate! You may donate items for a fundraiser or event, make a monetary donation via Zeffy, or check with your HR representative to see if they have an employer matching program.
