The Booster Board consists of a few parents who have been elected to serve on a board to help govern Boosters. Our leadership team serves as a liaison between parents and the school administration, facilitating communication and support. BASIS Benbrook Boosters do not have the authority to influence or interfere with the school's operational decisions or policies.
By law, nonprofits must have a minimum of three executive board members who are legally responsible for the organization and ensure that its actions, both financially and physically, adhere to non-profit laws.
Committee Chairs are few parents that have volunteer their time and skillset to lead and coordinate the committee. Chairs oversee a specific aspect of the Boosters Club, attend monthly meetings, and provide input on how we spend our funds.
